Mindfulness

Each day we are tasked with perceiving this moment as it is and not through the filter of our ideas and opinions.

Mindfulness, which, among other things, is an attentive awareness of the reality of things (especially of the present moment) is an antidote to delusion and is considered as such a ‘power’.

We can practice our mindfulness in many ways, through word and action.  Control of one’s body through physical disciplines can prove beneficial to control of one’s thoughts.  A daily routine of exercise, stretching or a myriad other activities can enhance our bodies reflexes, and balance.  These physical improvements pave the way for mental improvements.
